Welcome to Scrap-Friendzy's BUNNY{blog}HOP!

Welcome to your 8th stop on the BUNNY{blog}HOP sponsored by Scrap-Friendzy! If you are following the links from the beginning of the hop, you should have come from Chris's BLOG. If not, and you wish to participate in the blog hop, please start at the Scrap-Friendzy blog HERE.

Now, on to my projects created especially for the Bunny Hop.  On this card my main "ingredient" was using mist.  It's a new thing to me because I sometimes let things intimidate me.  Especially when you really don't have a lot of control on what it is going to end up looking like.  And for a clean line scrapper like me, that can be just plain stressful at time.  But because I misted my base piece and layered all the other pieces on top, it wasn't so bad :o)

Bugaboo stamp, DCWV papers, Bazzil Cardstock, Smooch Spritz, Ribbon Boutique ribbon
And on this layout, my main "ingredient" was inking.  I used a bright yellow ink pad to ink all my edges.  It sure does make me think of all those buttercups I have been seeing around here lately.
DCWV Cardstock, Cosmo Cricket papers, AC ribbon, Doodlebug stickers and sugar coating, MM alpha stickers. Studio G ink pad, Inkadinkado flourish stamps, MME button, unknown rhinestones, unknown trim

Your next stop on the blog hop will be CHERYL'S BLOG. Don't forget to leave a comment here, and on each stop on the blog hop. Then, make sure you finish up at the Scrap-Friendzy forum and post that you have completed the hop. Your name will be entered into a drawing for a fabulous grand prize!

If you are taking the additional BIG BUNNY HOP CHALLENGE, my "ingredient" is: COLOR MEDIUM (mist, paint, or colored ink for inking)--After all, we can't have dyed Easter eggs without dye!

In addition to the BUNNY{blog}HOP grand prize given by Scrap-Friendzy, I'm offering 2 fun RAKs too!! To be entered into my drawing, all you just have to do is: Become a follower of my blog and leave a comment on this post!! Easy-peasy!!!  I will randomly draw two names that have done this to be my winners.

The first winner will win this:

And my second winner will win this:

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of the hop!

Bugaboo Stamp card...post #2

If you read my previous post, you'll see why this card is being posting in a new post instead of in the same one as my other card.

This card is created using the instructions at Split Coast Stampers and is an easel card.

I used American Crafts paper, DCWV Cardstock, Colorbok ink and Paper Studios Gemstones.  I used my Bic Mark Its to color the image and my Dymo Labeler for the sentiment.

Another Bugaboo Stamp card...

Over on the Bugaboo Stamps challenge blog, Catch the Bug , this weeks challenge is to make a card with a different type of fold.  So I created two cards specifically for this challenge.  However I can never get the linky thing to let me add two different links using the same blog post and therefore there will be two posts back to back with cards in them so I can enter them both.  This first one is using the instructions form Split Coast Stampers for this Spring card.  I loved making this card and I am sure it will brighten someone's day who isn't feeling well.

I used Jillibean Soup paper, DCWV cardstock, Ribbon Boutique Ribbon, Staz-on Ink, And The Paper Studio Gemstones.  I did the sentiment using my Dymo labeler.  I used Bic Mark Its to color the image.

Bugaboo Stamps: I *HEART* Them

Here are a couple more cards using a Bugaboo Digital Stamp.  It was one of their freebies this past week and it's from their  Little Bit of Oz Collection.  The Tin man was also a freebie.

This one is blank on the inside right now so I can make it for whatever occasion I need it to be.
I made this to give to a friend of mine.

If you haven't checked out Bugaboo Stamps you really should.  They are by far my favorite Digi Stamp place.

Hello all...

Just thought I would pop in a share some "TWEET" boxes I made for mine and DH's Sunday school class.  I plan to put some Valentine's Cookies in there for the kids.

Here is the group shot of all 8:

Here is a picture of just the three girl boxes:
And aClose up of one of them so you can see the digital stamp better:
And here are the boys:

And again, a close-up so you can see this digital stamp as well:

The Digital stamps are from here:Digital Stamps
And the template/ directions for the box can be found at Splitcoast Stampers right here: 2-5-7-10 BOX

They were so fun and easy to make that I am thinking about making some more for party favors next time I have a party :)

Thanks for checking them out and I hope that you all have a very blessed day.

WOW!  It has been a long time since I posted.  Sorry about that.

I just thought I would pop over and post a card I made using a digital stamp from Bugaboo Stamps.  If you've never tried digi stamps than you really should.  They are so fun to work with and I thing Bugaboo's are the absolute best out there.  And you can try them for free because each Friday there is a new freebie posted that you can nab to try them out.  Anyway, on to the card:

Isn't this the funniest image!

Hope you like it.  And make sure you hop over to Bugaboo Stamps and grab you a freebie to try.

Welcome to Cookin' Up Creation's Blog Hop

Hello & welcome to the first ever Cookin' up Creations Winter Wonderland of Embellishments Blog Hop. We at Cookin' up Creations thought it would be a great idea to focus on Embellishments this month, as we have had lots of generous "embellishment" sponsors ....and we want to share with you. Along the Hop, you'll come across Challenges, Questions & Tuturials on different ways to use embellishments. If a blog requires you to complete a challenge, then please upload your completed challenge into the Embellishment Blog Hop Album before the end of the Blog Hop on January 22nd, 2010. All participating "blog hoppers" must be registered members in the gallery!

The Cookin' up Cookin' Up Creations Blog was your 1st stop and You are now at the 9th stop of the hop. If you’re not, then please go back to the CUC Blog by clicking HERE and begin again to ensure you complete each request along the way. At this stop, you have two things you must do in order to complete your hop here. Step one is just a shameless plug to get followers so you must become a follower of my blog. Who knows, maybe if I had followers I would update more often. And step two is actually a challenge. Many times we have the perfect embellishment for our card, layout or altered project, however, it is in the wrong color. So my challenge is for you to “alter” an embellishment to make it work with your page. In my example, Another Year, Another Photo Shoot I altered a couple of my embellishments. The brads in the center of the center green flowers was a Kelly green, so I added adhesive and sprinkled fine glitter on them. The red leather tag was actually grey so I used Tim Holtz Alcohol inks to change it to red. It worked like a charm! Once you complete your challenges (don’t forget to become a follower) for my blog leave your comment on this post, with a link to your uploaded project in the CUC Embellishment Blog Hop album to be entered for a small prize package of embellishments from me. After you have visited all the blogs and made a comment on each one, be sure to go back to the Cookin' up Creations Blog and post when you are finished. Thanks for hopping with us!
Your next stop is the super fabulously talented Angela… Land of Teenage Attitude

Have a Blessed Day!

EEEK! I am so excited!

Just thought I would share with anyone who might actually read this. We are closing on our new house today...WOOHOO! As a matter of fact in 2 1/2 hours we should be getting ready to sign those papers. And I can not wait. Its much more room (almost twice what we have now) and I get my own scrap room. Can not get any better than that.
Once we take possession I will take some pictures and post them. I took some on my cell phone last night when we did our final walk-through but they are so blurry. So I will take some better ones before we move everything in.
